— CONSIGNMENT SALE —

General Information

All volunteer shifts are filled on a first-come basis in our online registration system. When you register for a volunteer shift, please mark it on your calendar. Once you sign up, we close that shift to other potential volunteers. If your plans change and you find you cannot work your shift, please notify us ASAP! If you fail to show-up for your scheduled time and do not offer at least 48 hours notice or a replacement volunteer, you will be charged a $25 no-show fee and will not be able to participate in FPP consignment sales. If you are a consignor, the fee will be deducted from your sale proceeds. We are counting on you to be there, so please be confident that you can work before volunteering.

Please arrive on time (or even better, arrive early!) for the shift you are working. Volunteers help with set-up, check in, assisting shoppers, keeping racks and tables organized, the set up and take-down process. Due to the tasks that you may be doing and the amount of shoppers at any given time, we ask that you make other arrangements for your children during your volunteer shift. Please respect this rule. We do, however, allow middle-school age children (13 and up) to volunteer. If you sign up for the last shifts on Saturday or Sunday, please be prepared for physical labor. The breakdown process involves sorting clothes from the racks, breaking down tables, chairs, etc.

On your volunteer day, wear comfortable clothing and bring a drink and snack as needed. Be sure to check in and out with the volunteer coordinator.

Volunteers must shop outside of their volunteer shift. If you plan to shop during the Pre-Sale on Saturday morning, please do not sign up to work during that time. Only the person volunteering will be allowed in early. If you want to bring a friend or another person, then encourage them to work the sale as well! Absolutely no children will be allowed during the Pre-Sale. In addition, do not leave children unattended in lobby, hallways, etc. while you shop. Please arrange for childcare in advance if you plan on shopping the presale Saturday morning.

Consignors who plan to volunteer will register as both a consignor and a volunteer in the same system. When registering you will be given the option to also sign up as a volunteer.
