For over 60 years, Fairfax Presbyterian Preschool (FPP) has provided quality, early-childhood education to children ages 2 ½ to 5 years.
Founded in 1958 as a mission of Fairfax Presbyterian Church, FPP welcomes children of all faiths, cultures, and abilities. Our small class sizes and dedicated teaching staff create a welcoming environment where children can develop and grow. Our program is grounded in the philosophy that children learn best through play, and we are committed to providing an exceptional, educational experience for our young students.
FPP is licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia and is one of a select few preschools accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). FPP was once again named a ‘top preschool’ by NorthernVirginia Magazine for 2017.
We invite you to learn more about our preschool through this website or by contacting us directly. If you need extended day options (before- and/or after-care), you can learn more about FPC Childcare here.
We are proudly accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children!
We believe that learning should be fun. That's why all of our curriculum is play-based!
Our classes have a maximum of 10–12 students, so teachers can give each child the attention they need!
We’re tucked away on a beautiful piece of property off the busy Main Street/RT 236 in Fairfax, Virginia. You won’t see the church from the road; turn on Presbyterian Way and you’ll find us straight ahead. The Preschool is located on the far left side of the church building.
