It is our joy to welcome you to Fairfax Presbyterian Church. We hope that you will be nourished and sustained by your experiences at FPC as we provide avenues for renewal, fellowship, mission, and growth in Christ.
We have two worship services each Sunday: at 8:45 AM and at 11:15 AM. The 8:45 service is a contemplative, interactive style of worship, and it's in-person only. The 11:15 service is a traditional style worship service that is live-streamed to our website and to YouTube. We celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper on the first Sunday of each month.
At the start of the pandemic, we began offering our worship virtually. Even though we are now able to gather in person, we still broadcast our services online; the 11:15 AM service will be live-streamed each week. We invite you to listen to an audio-only live stream, or you can watch a live video stream on our YouTube channel. You can even submit prayer concerns and log your attendance online! Don't forget to follow along in this week's bulletin.
FPC has a “come as you are” dress code. You will see some members in “Sunday best,” some in “business casual,” and some dressed casually in jeans.
Starting on September 18, we will offer an Education Hour at 10:00 AM each Sunday, including programs for adults, youth, and children. Due to COVID-19 concerns, some of our Christian Formation classes are offered online via Zoom. Check the announcements section of this week's bulletin for current information about what classes are being offered.
Sunday Express is our Sunday school program for grades K–5. During education hour, these children meet with their teachers for an activity, lesson, snack, and some play time.
GRACE Youth Fellowship consists of grades 6–12, and they meet for “Faith and French Toast” during the education hour.
We welcome all children (even the noisy ones!) in our Sanctuary for worship! Additional options include:
10723 Main Street, Fairfax, VA 22030
We're tucked away on a beautiful piece of property off the busy Main Street/RT 236 in Fairfax, Virginia. You won't see the church from the road; turn on Presbyterian Way and you'll find us straight ahead
On Sunday morning, please leave your contact information in our online sign-in form, and check the box indicating that you're interested in becoming a member. You will receive information about our New Member Orientation, where you will have the opportunity to meet our staff, discuss the mission and vision of FPC, and take a tour of the church. This program helps us get to know you, and it helps you get to know us on a more personalized level and discern how to become involved in our community. Childcare is provided, if requested. Please check the current announcements sheet for details about an upcoming orientation. All are welcome; no invitation is required.
Our bulletin includes our Sunday morning order of worship. Our ushers will provide you with a printed copy as you enter the Sanctuary.
