Building Use

Facilities at Fairfax Presbyterian Church range from small classrooms suitable for 6 people, up to the Fellowship Hall for groups of 150+. If you or your organization is interested in utilizing our facilities, please contact our Church Administration team at 703-273-5300 or via email at fpcoffice@fairfaxpresby.com.

The Building is open from:

7am-8pm Monday-Friday

7am until 1pm on Saturdays

7am until 5pm on Sundays.

We are closed on all federal holidays.

Building Use Policy

Weddings at FPC

The Fairfax Presbyterian Church Session policy considers a wedding in our Church to be a service of worship invoking the blessing of God on the establishment of a new relationship and the founding of a home. It is an ordinance of God, and is particularly meaningful for those regularly involved in the life of the church. It is appropriate therefore to view your wedding as a worship service. Since it is taking place in a sanctuary, your wedding must take into account the integrity of the setting. Though different from a Sunday morning worship service, it must adhere to some of the same guidelines. The framework of worship will affect what can and cannot be included. The Pastor and the Organist can assist you in making your choices as you begin to plan.

In keeping with the very foundation of Fairfax Presbyterian Church in being "a house of prayer for all peoples," and consistent with the Constitution of the Presbyterian Church (USA), the Session shall make its decisions on granting the use of church facilities, including the sanctuary, in an inclusive and unbiased manner without consideration of the race, color, national or ethnic origin, handicap, or sexual orientation of the individuals, couples, or organizations making a request for the use of Fairfax Presbyterian Church’s facilities, consistent with our building use policies.
