"For I was hungry and you gave me smething to eat, missiongiving-boyandgirl-hires_300

I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink,

I was a stranger and you invited me in,

I needed clothes and you clothed me,

I was sick and you looked after me,

I was in prison and you came to visit me."

Matthew 25:35-36 NIV

We believe that our Lord calls us as his servants in the gospel tradition, bringing healing, liberation and new life to our community, our nation, our world, indeed to the whole creation. In many, many ways, we venture into the world to help heal, feed, clothe, and comfort.  Please join us.

Mission Outreach Ministry (MOM) at Fairfax Presbyterian Church is comprised of a number of committees sponsoring different mission programs, as well as partnering with other groups in the church who sponsor mission programs such as Mid-Life Men on a Mission, Gals in Guatemala, and Youth mission activities.

Our Mission programs are broken down intro three categories:

Community Mission

Presbyterian and World Mission

Social Action

Within each category, a number of different programs are supported. The Mission Ministry Elders welcome the involvement of all who are interested in serving the poor, the hungry, the homeless, the wounded and the less fortunate.
