Usher in the new year!

Sunday morning ushering is a great way to meet people and help provide a worshipping environment for our congregation. Lighting candles, preparing the pews, handing out bulletins, and cleaning up. Ushers work in four teams–one for each service alternating months. Come see if this is a way for you to contribute to our FPC community! Talk to any usher or ministers for details. Minute for Ushering Attachments Minute for Ushering (828 kB)

Jan 15 Worship and Collection

Both “Civil Rights Weekend” and “Celebrate the Gifts of Women Sunday” are being observed at FPC, Jan. 15. Four PW speakers will share stories of bold women who used their gifts to work for social justice. A special offering will be taken for Church World Service which provides blankets and tools of hope to help families worldwide recover from disasters. Thank you for donating to this mission as FPC women work to aid and empower those in need.

A Service of the Longest Night

We will have a special worship service on Wednesday, December 21 at 7:30p.m. in the sanctuary. During this season of joy and anticipation not everyone is feeling happiness if they have experienced loss or find themselves in unfortunate situations. This contemplative, quiet  service reminds us to stop and focus on the coming of Christ. It may not be appropriate for young children due to the quite nature and sometimes sorrowful reflections.
