Christmas Joy Offering: Celebrating God’s Indescribable Gift

Each year during the Advent and Christmas season, we turn our eyes to Bethlehem and celebrate the wondrous gift of Jesus Christ, our Savior. By giving to the Christmas Joy Offering, you honor this gift by providing assistance to current and retired church workers in their time of need and developing our future leaders at Presbyterian-related racial ethnic schools and colleges.

Angel Tree Gift Giving

Angel Tree®, a program of Prison Fellowship, reaches out to the children of prisoners and their families with the love of Christ. FPC is participating in the Christmas gift giving program for 33 children this year. Look for the tree in the Narthex and “adopt” a child or family this Christmas; wrapped gifts are due back by December 17 so that they can be delivered in time for Christmas. WRAPPING PRESENTS contributed by Corporations to the Main Street Child Development Center for each child for their parents to give to them on Christmas Day. All women are invited on Dec. 15th, 9:30 – 11:30 am to bring scissors and wrapping paper to the center located at 4401 Sideburn Rd., Fairfax, to help with selecting/wrapping gifts. Christmas Luncheon/Wrapping Party at Main Street

CALLING FPC WOMEN Help on December 20, 9:30 – 11:30 am at Main Street Child Development Center (4401 Sideburn Rd. Fairfax). Every year Rachel Circle provides a finger-food-luncheon for teachers and wraps toys contributed by Corps for Parents to give their children on Christmas morning.  Women at FPC who wish to help, please contact Gretchen Bush. Please bring finger food, large rolls of gift wrap, scissors etc.
