It is our joy to welcome you to Fairfax Presbyterian Church. We hope you will be nourished and sustained by your experiences at FPC as we provide avenues for renewal, fellowship, mission, and growth in Christ.
We believe God calls us to be an uncommon Christian community, embracing all people with God’s love and grace. By the power of the Holy Spirit, we at FPC:
Worship God with honesty, joy and imagination,
Nurture our lives of faith in Christ,
Extend hospitality and grace to all people,
Serve a world in need, and
Work for reconciliation among people of diverse perspectives.
This church opens wide its doors and bids you welcome!
We’re tucked away on a beautiful piece of property off the busy Main Street/RT 236 in Fairfax, Virginia. You won’t see the church from the road – turn on Presbyterian Way and you’ll find us straight ahead.
What should I wear?
Our church has a “come as you are” atmosphere. You will see some dressed up; some dressed casual.
Do you have childcare?
While children are always welcome in worship, we know that sometimes they need a break. Our Gathering Room, across from the parlor, contains a closed circuit television showing the worship service. Children can play in the Gathering Room while their parents watch the service, at any point throughout the morning. We also provide a nursery for children under 4 in room 245.
For Pre-K through 5th grade students, we provide a comprehensive Christian Formation program through an offering of music and Bible study, called the Sunday Express. Sunday Express begins at 10 am and continues through the end of the 11:15 worship service. As a part of their education program, the children will join us in the Sanctuary at 11:15 am until the Conversation with Children and resume their Sunday Express in their respective classrooms. Parents are asked to pick up their children after the service.
